It is a common knowledge that in the business world, school lectures and real practical jobs are not matched. So was what happened in today’s hospitality world. Although employees was captured from hotel school graduates, but in practice they don’t really understand how to do their job.

Lembaga Pendidikan Keterampilan Bina Kreatif Insani (LPK-BKI, the Educative Training Institution) was established to improve above issues. The institution is supported by and cooperated with the leading three starred hotel in Tegal, Karlita International Hotel.

According to LPK- BKI president, Jungky Junanto, in addition to prepare and equip students with the knowledge and the latest theories in the hospitality industry, one of the founding vision and mission is also to meet the needs of  professional labors in the field of hospitality.

“Sometimes D3 and D1 (3 years and 1 year Diploma) graduates are still stutters in hospitality industry,” explained director of LPK-BKI, Jungky Junanto.

To reach the objective of maximizing students’ expertise, in teaching-learning process more emphasis practice than theory. They will directly work as interns at Karlita International Hotel.

“All students will feel how to do a real job in real the hotel or FOs. With a lot of experience in all areas of hospitality, they will have a chance to do more work too, ” explained Jungky.

The students will have more advantages and benefit by doing the job in every hotel department. This will fulfills them with experiences and make them really know how to work.
